Tips and confidential information
If you have information about the media, the press corps or press freedom in Europe, we want to hear it. You can stay anonymous.
- Secure tip line: our encrypted BraveNews.eu at the Hush Line portal.
- WhatsApp or phone: +32 483 02 88 02. On WhatsApp, turn on disappearing messages.
- Do not use a work phone, work email or work network to contact us about your employer.
We protect our sources under Belgian law and the European Media Freedom Act. Read how we handle unnamed sources.
How we use your feedback
- Messages reach the journalists directly; there is no call centre or filter. We read them every working day.
- We use readers’ tips, questions and criticism to decide what to cover next, to follow up stories and to fix mistakes.
- We answer every correction request within 7 working days and every right-of-reply request promptly.
- You can also follow and respond to our work on LinkedIn and our WhatsApp channel.
